Musical implementations of Atatürk?s term

The Turkish Musical Revolution of Atatürk, in fact, is a procces that come upwith the establishment of Turkish Rebublic. Additionally, with the begining of19.century, the small procedures that occured in musical area had been the foundationof the revolation.In Turkey, we can see the very first effects of the revolutional dimension ofmusic, with the banning of alaturca style in 1926. With sending students to foreigncountries, bringing foreign experts, implementations, processes in musical educations,the efforts of ?Halkevleri and Halkodaları? etc. comes in 1934. In this subject ,Atatürks speech to TBMM had became the orijin and the day after his addresses,alaturca style music banned with an announcement on the radio.The most important feature of Atatürk, as a revolutionist, is to befundamentalist and totaler. According to his address about the playing of Özsoy Operet,it was a revolutional movement. Such a movement that can be emphasised ? A nationcan revolute on every area and can be successful on every of them, as well.. But musicalrevolution is the sign of high evolution and the aim is to become a totally Westernizedan civilized nation.In fact, wearing a westernized shirt is aimed with the musical revolution.Halkevleri and Halk odaları had served this aim to spread every edge of the country.It is not wrong to say that all the efforts are to create a fertile Turkish Anatolian human.For that reason, as in other areas, there had been great changesin artsuch as literature,sculpture, music, etc. By this way there had come the era of innovations. All the eventswere so fundamental that the nation had been effected deeply.In this study, I had mentioned about the musical progress ? that can bedescribed as a revolution- chronologically and tried to find answers to some questionsby the help of memories, photos and events
