Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of shooting activities on attention levels. Experimental group 18 in Kütahya youth center and youth sports club association (n=40); The control group consisted of 22 athletes. After the stroop Tbag attention test was applied to the athletes participating in the research, the experiment and control were randomly separated. Participants in the experimental group were included in the training program three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for eight weeks. In the main phase of the training; On the practitioner's side, basic and customizable air pistol and shot combinations for rifle discipline, aim tracking, target tracking, diaphragm breathing practices, trigger control, air rifle and pistol shooting positions, with appropriate rest intervals, are between 45-50 minutes. completed in the process. No training protocol was applied to the participants in the control group. At the end of the process, the stroop Tbag attention test was applied from the experimental and control groups. In this study, firstly, Shapiro-Wilk normality test was applied to the data. Repetitive measures Anova test was applied to the data found to have normal distribution at α= 0.05 significance level for mixed measurements and Group x time interaction was evaluated. In addition, Simple Effects tests were applied in order to make comparisons within the measurements of the groups within the group x time interaction. According to the data obtained, Strop Effect Test Second Part Total Time, Total Correction, Strop Effect Test Third Part Total Time, Total Correction, Strop Effect Test Fifth Part Total Number of Errors, and Total Correction Number before and after the intervention process experimental group and control group When the test, post-test and permanence values were compared, a statistically significant difference was found between the groups. As a result, as a result of the findings, we examined the results of the stroop effect test after the training program for the eight-week shooting branch; It is seen that the training program applied according to the results of the experimental and control group pre-test, post-test and retention tests improved the attention of the experimental group students. In sports where features such as attention and concentration, which are very important for shooting sports, are at the forefront; With appropriate training programs, possible error numbers, shooting time and correction numbers can be improved.egular hobby, chronic disease, activity level and trait anxiety levels.
