The sustainability analysis of the Atikhisar Dam basin

It caused that the increasing of water resources problems, the identifying of these resources, the direction of them, the sustainable usage of them and increasing of the researches about their sharing. This Project is held so as to be prevented pollution at Atikhisar dam lake basin, the more sustainable usage, formed of the land usage plan and identified the suitably of the usage ecologically, In actually it can be dealt with the problem and method.Within the context of the Project, the method is applied to the maximum values map. The proposed area usage map is formed the five usage types of the working area that is identified by experts according to the priority classification (protection, forest, pasture, meadow agriculture, accomadation). At the end of the work is identified the forest is 56%, the accomodation is 31% the posture-meadow is 10%, the agriculture is 1% at approximately 331 square kilometered working area.The sustainable usage of Atikhisar Dam is an inevitable necessity for the water safety of Çanakkale. There are the important deficits of the water resources, about the planning and direction of Çanakkale. It?s impossible to declare that it will be solved all of the problems about the planning of the water resources in Çanakkale. Moreover, if these working results are considered, the detailed Works about the sustainable usage will be supplied to done as Atikhisar Dam is the first and it will be started to be done the usage plan about Atikhisar Dam Basin. Thanks to this work that it will be done will be able to achieve.
