The use of recycled glass in cold glass forming techniques

With the use of waste glass in glass art within the scope of this thesis study; Glass art works were produced in cold glass shaping techniques by making original designs. In line with this purpose, it is aimed to save natural resources, reduce environmental pollution and contribute to researches on the use of waste glass, which can be recycled many times, in different areas. Within the scope of the thesis, after basically discussing the definition and history of glass, glass shaping methods are briefly mentioned. Then place about recycling and waste glass recycling in the literature given to the place in the world and Turkey were examined. Usage areas of waste glasses other than glass production have been discussed. The works of artists who use waste glass in their production were included, and later artistic productions were made in the cold glass shaping technique with workshops. Each production stage is explained in detail.
