Abstract (EN)
Key Words: Urban Wastewater Treatment, Parameter, Artificial Neural Network, Multilayer Perceptron Biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD) and suspended solids (SS) are parameters which are used for measuring the performance of urban wastewater treatment system. In this study, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model is used to estimate the effluent of the BOD, COD, SS which are the pollution parameters of wastewater treatment plant. The data which are used to develop the model consists of parametres that are the temperature of the wastewater, pH, mean flowrate , BOD, COD and SS. Multilayer Perceptron model which was formed by using data for Adapazarı urban wastewater treatment plant is suitable with the real data.
