EVALUATION of WASTE as CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL SUMMARY Keywords: Construction material, waste evaluation, enviromental problems Wastes and waste products that arise from various kinds of reasons cause problems in our present world and our country. In addition to the impact of these wastes on the environment, its influence on the humans and other living creatures is getting more day by day. It would supply great benefits to create a usage potentiality of several obtained waste materials. In this way, some advantages like, improving several features of construction materials, finding new usage areas for conventional materials, or producing new materials for known applications and besides energy savings, economy, environmental protection and wise usage of natural resources. In this study, experiment studies have been done by using different waste materials with general knowledges of used wastes as construction material and construction materials. Mortar samples have been prepared according to Turkish Standars 24 (TS 24) using only boric acid, only waste clay which is boron industrial waste and then by mixing waste clay, liquid glass, tar and perlit. Obtained result have been compared with pressure values of unadulterated mortar and near results have been obtained. So, it is resulted that additives material using this study can be used as materials instead of cement or addition to it
