Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, as the living standards are concerned, the expectations of the users are increasing more and more. The standards of comfort that make people feel comfortable in the environment, aesthetics and design are now higher for the user. The conditions to be described with the comfort features of the clothes are moisture, water and air permeability values of the fabric. Rather than daily life, especially those who are engaged in active sport or who do not sports as professionals, pay more attention to the comfort features of sportswear and want to feel good when doing sports. As a result of these evaluations, polyamide has been chosen as the most preferred type of fabric for active sports wearers and a work plan has been developed for evaluating the data obtained as a result of repeated washing of this fabric which has comfort characteristics. A wide variety of studies have been carried out in the literature regarding moisture transfer properties, drying rate properties and other performance characteristics for comfort evaluation in knitted fabrics. Studies on the performance of atmospheric plasma processing, using atmospheric plasma processes have been carried out under different conditions in relation to the effect of atmospheric plasma processing on capillarity performance; but work on active sports clothes and their performance after repeated laundering produced with seamless knitting technology is very limited. The effect of plasma treatment on important moisture management properties such as capillary wetting, water vapor permeability, air permeability and drying rate has been investigated in this dissertation. In addition, the effect of repeated laundering on comfort features was also assessed. Data obtained as a result of the experimental studies are discussed with SPSS 20 software package and ANOVA with bivariate correlation analysis and TOPSIS evaluations. As a result of the study, plasma conditions and finishing conditions were found to be effective in almost all tested comfort properties. In addition, fabric structure properties (physical parameters such as thickness and porosity) are also found as parameters affecting moisture performance of products. According to the evaluation results, atmospheric plasma treatment is seen as a parameter that influences the moisture management properties of the polyamide fabric. The ranking was achieved by considering the priorities determined in the final target direction.
