Abstract (EN)

In this study, poly[(linoleic acid)-g-(styrene)-g-(ε-caprolactone)] (PLina-g-PSt-g-PCL) graft copolymers were synthesized and these graft copolymers were used as organic field effect transistors (OFET) for use in device applications. In the study, poly[(linoleic acid)-g-(styrene)-g-(ε-caprolactone)] (PLina-g-PSt-g-PCL) graft copolymers was synthesized by one-pot reaction method using polymeric linoleic acid as the initiator. With a one-pot reaction method, the hydroxyl groups in polymeric linoleic acid were combined by ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone and the bromine ends in linoleic acid were combined by atom transfer radical polymerization of styrene in one step. Later; PLina-g-PSt-g-PCL graft copolymers were used as macroinitiators by bromination at the ratios of poly(linoleic acid), 1/1, 1/5, 1/10 and 1/20). By increasing the concentration of styrene monomer on graft copolymers, its effect on graft copolymers was examined. Chemical characterizations of the obtained graft copolymers; It was performed using proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) techniques. OFET production was carried out in order to use PLina-g-PSt-g-PCL graft copolymers as an insulator layer. Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) was used as the active layer. Preformed OFET substrates were used as source/discharge electrodes. For capacitance measurement, the ITO/P3HT/PLina-g-PSt-g-PCL/Al structure was prepared using the same method. Electrical characterizations of OFET devices were carried out in the dark and in an air atmosphere to obtain the output and transfer current voltage characteristics. From the capacitance-frequency graph, the basic characteristics of the devices such as threshold voltage (VTh), field effect mobility and on/off current ratio (Ion/off) were obtained. Basic electrical parameters in OFET devices produced depending on styrene concentration have been examined in detail. The fabricated PLina-g-PSt-g-PCL OFETs were observed to exhibit positive device properties such as low VTh, outstanding mobility, and Ion/off values.
