Abstract (EN)
The decrease in limited resources and the increase in the total amount of waste due to the ever-increasing consumption are beginning to pose a threat to humanity. For this reason, the importance given to sustainability and circular economy understanding has started to increase. Important steps are being taken in the direction of less waste efforts and the recycling of waste and its inclusion back into the consumption cycle. Within the scope of this thesis study, avocado fruit wastes, whose production and consumption are increasing rapidly every year in our geography, were cleaned, dried and pulverized, and the avocado powders obtained, clinoptilolite zeolite mineral powder, which we have great reserves, and avocado zeolite powders in a ratio of 1:1 by weight were applied to 100% cotton single jersey fabric by impregnation method. The produced samples were subjected to moisture absorption, antibacterial and antifungal tests, as well as grammage, color change, water vapor permeability and air permeability tests, and changes in their properties before and after application were examined.
