Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, hand painting applications on glass, especially in Europe, are discussed. The thesis consists of five main titles. In the introduction, the aim, scope and method of the thesis are explained. In the second part of the study, the developments in glass production in Europe from the 15th to the 20th century and the effects of these developments on glass products, which are locally produced and traded in Venice and Murano, England, France and Spain, Low Countries, and finally Bohemia and Germany. taken. In the third part of the study, the development of hand painting practices in glass production from the 15th to the 20th century in Europe, enamel, gilding, luster materials, materials and tools used, and hand painting practices were researched specifically for countries. In the fourth chapter, under the title of hand painting applications on glass objects today, artists using hand painting applications and the works of these artists are mentioned. In the last part, there are the sketches of the works produced by the researcher, the construction stages and works and the tags of the works.
