Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relations between Turkey and European Union in the framework of Customs Union and historical background is reviewed in general. The structure of sectors in the EU and Turkey is examined and compared with each other. At the same time the differences between the two pharmaceutical sectors and finally the harmonisation that Turkey should apply, is determined. The application of marketing authorisation in EU, Turkey and CADREAC Countries and possible problems that especially Turkey can face in the context of Customs Union is studied. The results have demonstrated that in Turkey the legislation procedures are harmonised with that of EU registration procedures. It has also been seen that the Cadreac Countries have gained some advantages, through which they can faciliate implementation of EU standarts and professional obligations in putting drug regulations into practice.
