Abstract (EN)
This research aims to examine and investigate the outputs of projects on entrepreneurship, which were funded within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme KA2: Strategic Partnerships in the field of Higher Education between 2014 and 2018. Within the scope of the research, the phenomenon of entrepreneurship is explained. Following this, the place of entrepreneurship in various strategies of the European Union is investigated and the grant programs for entrepreneurship are presented. Finally, the research focuses on the ways in which entrepreneurship is supported in one of these grant support programs, the Erasmus + Strategic Partnership program, and recommendations for future grant schemes are made. The findings of the analysis have demonstrated that entrepreneurship is one of the most supported topics in Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership program, that the number of projects selected as success story and/or good practice examples in entrepreneurship field is higher than other subjects, that the projects on entrepreneurship are more frequently funded in developing economies, that the projects on entrepreneurship generally also deal with digital competences and creativity, that companies are represented at low rates in the partnership structures and that the projects are carried out by both the business departments and the departments which traditionally do not have entrepreneurship related courses in their curricula. In this respect, for the upcoming European Union education, training and youth programme following Erasmus+ programme, it is possible to recommend determining geographic priorities; supporting women entrepreneurship and immigrant entrepreneurship both of which were not fully funded under Erasmus+ programme; increasing the proportion of companies in partnership structures by various quotas and supporting projects which include entrepreneurship in the curricula of departments and faculties which do not traditionally have entrepreneurship courses.
