European Unions Syria sanctions effects on maritime sector

Governments using sanctions as a tool to implement their foreign policies and taking necessary precautions to maintain order. One country or more than one countries may implement sanctions to another country by punishing the target country to change their undesirable behaviours. Within this scope, European Union started to implement sanctions over Syria against Syrian governments internal repression to civil citizens of Syria. Sanctions implemented to government, also to the entitites and persons who supports internal repression on Syria. Between persons and entities, sanctions also prohibited to sell, supply, transfer or export, directly or indirectly, equipment which might be used for internal repression. EU publishs lists of these goods with council regulations. The sale, supply, transfer or export of published goods are prohibited. As transferring these commodities is prohibited, maritime sector highly affected from Eu's sanstions over Syria. On this study, effects of Eu's sanctions over Syria investigated and interviewed with diffrent persons from diffrent points of maritime sector.
