Abstract (EN)
Turkey is a country which is rapidly growing in the develoing world order; so it has to cooperate with some transnational organizations and intergovernmental authorities to increase the international field activity. The most important of these is the European Union. EU membership process that is continuing persistently more than fifty years got into a dilemma because of inner turmoil and attitudes against Turkey. This study has been prepared according to the current structure of the European Union in order to evaluate the alternatives that best suit the national and regional interests of Turkey. The structure of the regional formations and political, economical, and cultural relations have been evaluated. Potential projects and alternatives have also been compared with each other. As a result of these evaluations and comparisons, an analysis study which included the most appropriate alternative options has been carried out in the line with the current situation of Turkey and its anticipated positions for the future.
