Examining the problems faced by the workforce migrating from Europe to America in the businesses in the industrial sector withn the scope of organizational culture

Migration is the progress that people make in order to continue their life in another region, either permanently or temporarily, mostly due to repulsive reasons. The United States has been exposed to waves of international immigration since its founding. In particular, people who had economic difficulties in Europe left their countries in large masses to increase their welfare level and migrated to the United States, which made great progress in the field of industry. European immigrants who started to work in the field of industry reflect and use their previous experience, culture and knowledge not only in the society they live in, but also in the sectors they work in. In this thesis, the problems faced by the workforce who migrated from Europe for the last 30 years when they come to America will be examined under a new environment, culture and business environment. At the same time, it has been investigated whether the problems faced by immigrants from Europe are related to immigrants from different parts of the world. In this respect, this thesis will contribute to the literature. According to the data obtained as a result of the interviews, it has been seen that there is a lack of communication between the employees and the employer, and also the employer does not give enough importance to the ideas of the employees in solving the problems experienced in the company. In addition, it has been understood that immigrant workers with different ethnic cultures have difficulties in being a whole with in the organizational culture.
