The subject of the study is the fundamental national and international legal arrangements to prevent violence against woman. the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence and the Law no. 6284 in Turkey. The aim of the study is to detect Turkey's evaluation and utilization of European Convention on Human Rights, İstanbul Convention and other international legal instruments to prevent violence against woman. In Turkey, both in terms of legislation and approach to violance against women conflict with the ECHR jurisprudence and according to the articles of the Convention, it was revealed that there are serious violations.
