Abstract (EN)
Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which regulates the right to respect for private life, protects the person's choices as to the appearance. This protection has been made possible by the jurisprudence of the Strasbourg organs. In relevant jurisprudence, hair, beard and clothing preferences were accepted as an expression of personality.
