Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the rising nationalism in Europe and the populist approach that separates it from fascism within the framework of the new media usage of the leaders. For this purpose, the concept of populism is discussed with the theorists' views. The concept of populism has been explained with examples from the right populist discourses and actions of today's nationalist and conservative politicians. Then, what was the new media and how it had an impact on the political field was emphasized.
