Evaluation of Ayas city in the context of persons with disabilities

The aim of this study is primarily to evaluate Ayaş district in terms of disabled individuals. Therefore, the study will be evaluated in terms of urban area. In the research, first of all, the theoretical frameworks of the Ayaş district on the quality of the city were questioned, and then they were examined in the context of the rights of the disabled. In addition, social policies and practices and institutional structures for disabled people in the urban area will be questioned through field research in the context of non-governmental organizations, city administrations and disabled individuals through the example of Ayaş. As a result, it will be tried to develop a better participation model for the urban area by utilizing the experiences of different cities and the findings of the field research. The characteristics of the urban space will be evaluated in terms of reaching the desired level of various activities carried out so that the disabled person is not exposed to isolation and living in a world limited to private space. The study is an attempt to understand being a disabled person in the urban area. For this, it is aimed to determine the poverty and deprivation of the rural area, the point of view of the disabled, the neediness in the public and private areas, the accessibility problems and to examine the quality of the city from this center.
