Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to investigate the effects of different irrigation restriction rates and vermicompost application to soil on plant development and mineral substance concentration in leaves on 6 different sunflower plants in a greenhouse environment. In the research, 3 different irrigation levels (full irrigation (%100) (I0), 80% (I1) and 60% (I2)) were used in order to determine the effect of drought stress and the trial was carried out as a pot trial. In the experiment; Sunflower plant (Helianthus annuus) varieties P64LP130, LG5461CLP, P64LL62, P642C108, SY SANTOS, SY BARBATI were used as plant material. In order to investigate the effect of soil organic matter under drought conditions at each irrigation dose, 0% and 5% vermicompost was mixed into the soil. The research was set up according to a randomized plot design with four replications. Essential nutrients were given to the plants together with irrigation. According to the examined characteristics, irrigation and vermicompost application was statistically effective at 1% significance level on the above ground fresh and dry weights of the plant. While the general average of the varieties was measured as 34.38 gr7plant in the control application, it was measured as 43.83 gr/plant in the vermicompost application. The reactions of the varieties to the applications were different among themselves. In the irrigation applications, an increase of almost 70% to 90% in the fresh weight and dry weight of the plant was detected in 100% irrigation applications compared to 60% applications. However, the mineral substance concentrations and uptakes of the plant were found to be high in 100% irrigation and vermicompost applications. In the study, it was observed that the biomass of the plant was formed more in the vermicompost application to the soil in the lowest irrigation restriction application.
