A study on determining pre and post land consolidation application efficiency on land devolopment services in Aydin region

In this study; the culturaltechnical effects of land consolidation on nine units, belonging toAydın-Yenipazar plain, which are in 4389 decares land, were evaluated. The size of the parcel, the number of parcels per farm, the status of shareholder parcel, the number of parcel and parcel shape, the average of parcel size, the length og road, the length of irrigation channel, the length of surface drainage channel, the rate of irrigation and consolidation were determined before and after of land consolidation in the study. The number of parcel decreased from 8465 to 4731 with the land consolidation in the province. Before and after of land consolidation a single shareholder parcel rate was determined as highest. Single shareholder parcel number was decreased from 7088 to 4080 before and after of land consolidation. The average parcel size increased from 5,18 to 9,28 decares. All the parcels reached agricultural road and became irrigated after land consolidation. The length of road increased from 87377 m to 231917 m after land consolidation in the province. The rates of rectangular parcel increased from 19.83 % to 73.21%. The length of irrigation channel increased from 83371 m to 194363 m after land consolidation. Also, the length of surface drainage channel increased from 82055 m to 87453 m after land consolidation in the project area. The rate of consolidation and irrigation were calculated as 44 % and 94,68 %, respectively. Key Words: Land consolidation, the rate of consolidation, the number of parcels, the rate of irrigation.
