Aim: This study aims to determine the effects of different seed and harvest times on the yield and quality of forage pea. Material and Method: The trial was carried out in the Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Agriculture in 2019-2020, with 3 replications according to the factorial trial pattern in randomized blocks. In the study, the Ulubatli species of forage pea (Pisum sativum subsp. arvense L.) Asch. was used as a trial material. 4 different seed times (October 16 - October 30 - November 18 - December 3) and three different harvest times (25% - 50% - 100% blooming period) were applied. Findings: Characteristics such as plant height, stem diameter, fresh yield, dry matter ratio and yield, acid detergent fiber (ADF), acid detergent lignin (ADL), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), crude protein ratio (HPO), crude protein yield (HPV), digestible dry matter (DDM), relative feed value (RFV) were examined in the study and the results were found to be statistically significant. As a result of the study; it was found that the fresh yield and dry yield was from the plots planted on November 18 and reaped at 100% blooming period (3452.8 kg/da, 1449.2 kg/da), and the lowest ADF and NDF values were from the plots reaped at 25% blooming period, respectively (30.2% - 42.6%). Conclusion: In terms of yield characteristics of forage peas, early seed and late harvest times periods generally provided high yields as they extended the plant development period. Therefore, this period was found to be more suitable for the production season. It was concluded that planting on November 18 and reaping at 100% blooming period could be recommended for yield in the region where the study was carried out and similar regions.
