Abstract (EN)
The present study focuses on the folk music culture of Aydın region as well as the musical features of nonverbal works belonging to the Aydın region in the TRT-THM repertoire. In this study, accessible resources belonging to the folk music culture of Aydın region and nonverbal works belonging to the region recorded in the TRT-THM repertoire were selected as the study sample and it was aimed to examine the musical features of nonverbal works in the region. As the result of the study, mainly it was concluded that Aydın region has its own important traditions and these traditions are still alive today, there are 21 nonverbal works belonging to Aydın region and have been recorded and styles in 9 are dominant in 21 nonverbal works belonging to the region and examined within the scope of the research.
