ABSTRACT MSc THESIS ESTIMATIONS OF PARAMETERS THE POPULATION DYNAMICS OF SPECIES TWO SERRANUS {Serrcmus hepatus, Serramis cabrilla) FROM THE BABADILLIMANI IN AYDINCIK LEVENT SANGÜN DEPARTMENT OF FISHERIES INSTITUTE OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCE UNIVERSITY OF ÇUKUROVA Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Mustafa AKAR Year: 2002, Pages: 91 Jury: Prof. Dr. Mustafa AKAR Prof. Dr. Ercan SARIHAN Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamer KAYAALP In this study, reproduction periods, von Bertalanffy Growth Constants and the periods of highest growth were determined for Brown Comber and Comber. Reproduction periods were between May and September for Brown Comber and May and October for Comber, von Bertalanffy Growth Constants were estimatied Lco=33.398cm, K=0.0501year_1, t0=-1.231year, Woo=652.589gr and L«,=73.3653cm, TL=OÜ2TSyç®['\ to=-2.2288year, W.=2516.59gr for Brown Comber and Comber respectively. Moreover, von Bertalanffy Growth Constants were estimatied for standart and fork lenght. It was estimated that the highest growth in lenght and weight occurred between the age groups of I-II and IV-V for brown Comber and between the age groups of I-II and V-VI for Comber. Also lenght-weight regression equations and r values were calculated for total lengths as W=0.0145*L3057 and 0.986 in Brown Comber and W=0.023 1 *L2 923 and 0.958 in Comber.
