Abstract (EN)
In all studies and in many fields of life light is required and in circumstances that natural light is insufficient or unavailable to be used properly, the use of artificial light is obligatory. Since natural light is variable, this requirement increases further. The main purpose of lighting is to provide the best sight level possible with regard to the need. Since it is impossible to provide a good lighting with random luminary selection and placement, analysis and advanced calculation methods are required. Basic calculation methods depend on criteria like luminary to be used, usage purpose and structure of the place to be lighted. In addition to taking these factors into consideration, disturbing and undesirable effects that required to be eliminated should be debugged in design stage. This study includes computer aided calculations and visual simulation of the lumination status obtained in addition to criteria, technical information and classical calculation methods about indoor lighting with artificial light sources. For the program written for this purpose, a large database is used including data about luminaries, room indexes and usage purposes of places. VII In this thesis study, acquisiting the required data, an easy to use, fast running and practical software is composed and acquired results are presented by being examined in detail. Key Words : Lighting, Lamp, Luminary
