Özet (EN)
This thesis is based on the fact that, despite their critical role in the modern science and technology ecosystem, the historical development process of lighting/optical laboratories has not been systematically examined, and no comprehensive standardisation or accreditation framework exists that is specific to this field. The aim of the thesis is to examine the historical development process of lighting/optical laboratories; to identify the inadequacies of existing international standards and accreditation protocols in addressing the specific needs of these specialised laboratories; and ultimately to propose a set of interdisciplinary and sustainable principles and criteria for their establishment. The research structured around three main hypotheses, utilised comprehensive literature review, document analysis, and meta-analysis methods. The thesis seeks to provide both a historical analysis that addresses a clear academic gap and a practical framework that serves as a guide handbook for industry stakeholders, with the goal of enhancing efficiency and reliability. This endeavour is significant not only for lighting/optical laboratories but also for laboratories in comparable positions, as it has the potential to offer a specialised methodological model for the field.
