Abstract (EN)
Recent developments and the advantages of lighting control systems that recently has taken an important place in foreign countries and also rapidly became widespread in our country are told. In our country, putting a lamp in the middle of a room was seen enough to light the room until recent years. However, lighting is an engineering application which is to be done by considering much knowledge to meet the users? needs changing in time. Here in, the basic goal is beyond lighting the place in desired level, but creating a lighting system which can be flexible for the desired situations. Energy saving can be provided by keeping the light level under control with the help of daylight and the movement sensors. The aim of this research is to explain the goal and the working methods of the lighting control systems. It was mentioned here to choosing lighting system as to different places, the features of the control components to be used in this process and the points that must be regarded. The advantages of the right chosen lighting automation for users and how much energy saving the system can provide were shown with application examples and the advantages of it provided for national economy were stressed. Keywords: Illumination, illumination automation, lighting management, energy saving, digital addressable lighting interface.
