Natural disasters in the context of verses and hadiths

Natural disasters are events that occur in nature that people have difficulty in preventing and that result in loss of property and life. These disasters that occur; bring with them many spiritual problems as well as material losses. In the face of this situation where routine life is turned upside down and living conditions change suddenly, the person flounders in despair. He looks for a culprit. During the interrogation, he falls into despair thinking that it is unfair for this disaster to happen to him. The losses of close relatives, spouses, friends and the economic losses suffered can make it difficult for the disaster victim to cope with this stress. People who have lost many material/spiritual supports search for a haven to take shelter in the face of disasters. While the efforts to hold on to life generally bring the person closer to his creator, sometimes there is a distance. This distance can grow even more with hearsay and misdirection. At this point, accessing the right information is very important for the person whose pain is still fresh. For this reason, the aim of the research is to reach the disaster victims with both the verses in the Holy Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet (pbuh). In this way, it is aimed that the person's connection with the Creator is not broken, and that he/she can return to his/her normal life more easily despite all the painful experiences and losses.
