Mythological elements in Ayla Kutlu's works

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and classify the mythological elements in the works of Ayla Kutlu, one of the important writers of Turkish literature after 1960. In the research, information about myth and mythology is given and mythological elements in Ayla Kutlu's works are discussed in the context of literature and mythology. The development of myth and mythology in Turkish and world literature is mentioned, Ayla Kutlu's life and literary life is given, and the mythological elements encountered in her works are specified. The mythological elements in her works are classified and given. The purpose and justification of the mythological elements in her works are analyzed by conducting research on the purpose and justification of the mythological elements in her works. Ayla Kutlu, who is among our writers who worked in Turkish literature after 1960, has an important place with the works she has brought to our literature. Although Greek and Sumerian mythology predominates in his works, he also includes the mythology of many different cultures. With the influence of the city where he was born and grew up, he has observed the influence of the societies and cultures that lived in this geography very well and combined it with his historical knowledge and created his works in the context of fictional reality.
