The distributions of order statistics from nonidentical random variables

This thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, the fundamental definitions and theorems are given. The second chapter consists of three sections. In the first, second and last sections, the distributions of order statistics of continuous i.i.d., discrete i.i.d. and continuous i.n.n.i.d. random variables are given, respectively. In the last chapter, the distributions of order statistics of discontinuous and discrete dependent random variables are examined. Furthermore, the relations between dependent and independent, discontinuous and continuous, and discrete and continuous cases are given.
