ABSTRACTNATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS RELATED TO THEDISCRIMINATIONDEMİRKOLLU, CeyhunDokuz Eylul UniversityInstitute Of Social SciencesLabour Economics and Industrial RelationsMaster of Arts, Human ResourcesThe aim of this thesis is to analyze the basic Equality regulations, the implementation ofthese regulations in Turkey and the related legislation in general: and to analyze thekinds of discrimination of the employers against the employees within the framework ofthe concept of Equal Treatment clause in Article 12 of the Turkish Labor Law, inspecific. Within this perspective, the meaning of discrimination, how discrimination istreated in the basic Equality regulations, the Turkish legal regulations and theConstitution in view if discrimination, and European Union?s view on the subject, willbe examined.Key words: discrimination, positive discrimination, equality, human rights,globalization.
