Abstract (EN)
In this study, the values in Aytul Akal's children's novels were determined and it was tried to show how the values in the works overlap with the values in the Updated Turkish Lesson (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Class) Curriculum and how the targeted values are transferred. In the first part of the study, the problem status and sub problems were identified and the aim and importance of the research was stated. In addition, the informations about Aytul Akal, the author of the novels that make up the universe of work, has been given. In the second part of the study, value, value education, value transfer approaches, family, school and literary works which played an active role in transferring values were emphasized. The values to be earned in the updated Turkish Curriculum have been mentioned. Information about the points to be taken into consideration when giving value through literary works is given. The study was done descriptively in the screening model. Aytul Akal's 8 children's novels are the universe of the research. For the study, these novels were examined one by one, the sections containing the values of the novels were determined, the value categories of them were determined, and the values were presented in tabular form. Findings related to the determined values have been interpreted, the values have been reported in novels. It has also been found that the values in the novels are transferred to the reader by means of the methods of literaryity, not by direct transmission, but by using methods of repetition, exploitation of contrasts, identification with the hero and attainment of a happy ending.
