Abstract (EN)

In recent years, earthquakes which caused important damages and much economic lost, again have showed that performance based design and evaluation is very important in Earthquake Engineering. It is necessary to know the information about the construction to determine the performance evaluation of the reinforced concrete structure. For this aim; the structural system details, dimensions and material properties should be informed from the existing structure. In this study; the effects of the information levels about the 2, 4, 7, 10 storied reinforced concrete structures which have same plan was investigated.Result of this studies showed that, the same planned 2, 4, 7, 10 storied reinforced concrete structures have not provided the life safety and the structures have to be strengthen. When the story number is fixed and the knowledge coefficient was increased, the performance evaluation of the structures was better than than the preceding performance level. When the knowledge coefficient is fixed and the story number was increased, the performance level was better than the preceding level. According to this results in high rise building the strengthen cost value is significantly decline in value when analysing in comprehensive knowledge level and if consider that the strengthen cost value is foot up pretty high than the knowledge level increase cost, it is worst to be folded to cost of the reach of the comprehensive knowledge level.
