Tevfik Fikret within the Azerbaijani literary circle

The name of Tevfik Fikret (1867-1915) also emerges as the most popular name in the last century of our literature history as well as being one of the leading names of modern Turkish literature. Hundreds of articles writing about Tevfik Fikret aim to introduce his different sides as well as tens of scientific studies prepared about him. In this study prepared, Tevfik Fikret's one side, which it hasn't been talked over up to the present, is able to be determined. His traces in the different countries in particular Azerbaijan are able to be determined. Especially, place of Tevfik Fikret in media, literature and society has been exemplified in the light of new sources stated. In this study it has been taken as a basis being primary of used sources and consisted of four chapters. It includes nineteen subheadings as well as four main headings representing these four chapters: "Place and Importance of Tevfik Fikret in Turkish Literature and Centennial Process After His Death", "A Poet Beyond Borders: Tevfik Fikret", "Tevfik Fikret and Azerbaijan Literature" and "Tevfik Fikret Among Azerbaijani Poets". Meanwhile, inferences consisting of determined traces of Tevfik Fikret in the other societies and in particular Azerbaijan in the light of sources used in the study have been indicated in the chapter "Conclusion", a large source list leading the study has been indicated in chapter "References" and most part of documents and photographs, published for the first time in such a study, have been also included in chapter "Annexes".
