Foreign trade between Azerbaijan and Turkey: An econometric analysis

In this thesis, the situation of foreign trade relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, which declared its independence after the disintegration of the USSR, was examined. In the first part of the work, the economic developments in Azerbaijan, which gained its independence in 1991, were handled and information was given about the sectors forming the Azerbaijani economy. In the second part, the general foreign trade situation of Azerbaijan and the most important sectors which constitute foreign trade of Azerbaijan have been studied. In the third chapter, trade relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are discussed. In particular, econometric analyzes have been carried out on the most important export products of the two countries according to the monthly data for 2007-2014, and the existence of the causality relation between the two countries' foreign trade over different models has been examined.
