Abstract (EN)

Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi ( 1541 ereflikoçhisar-1928 Üsküdar ) who is thepir of Celveti tariqah is one of the most famous, most capable and mostinfluential sufis of the history of sufism.Among the creations of Hüdayi the one which is read most is his Divanin which he gathered his ilahis.Many hand-written copies of this book ispresent any many of the ilahis were composed and reached today.In this work we studied the 751/4 numbered hand-written copy ofDivan which is in the Yapı Kredi Bank Sermet Çifter Research Library.In the introduction chapter of this work we tried to give informationabout the social and cultural status of Üsküdar in the period that AzizMahmud Hüdayi lived in.In the first chapter of this work, we tried to give information about AzizMahmud Hüdayi `s life, literary personality, his creations and his Divan whichwe take as to basis of our research.In the second chapter of this work , we investigated Aziz MahmudHüdayi?s Divan in the perspective of the folk literature. Furthermore in thesecond chapter we investigated Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi?s Divan in themetaphorical perspective.In the third chapter of this work we tried to present the full text of thecopy of Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi?s Divan in Yapı Kredi Bank Sermet ÇifterResearch Library transferred to the modern alphabet.
