Abstract (EN)

Firstly, azo-oxime derivative ligand, 2-hydroxy-5-[(E)-phenyldiazo]benzaldoxime, H2L (2) was synthesized by the reported literature. Then, mixed ligand Mn(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) complexes were prepared by using this ligand and 2,2‟-Bipyridine/1,10-phenanthroline as terminal ligand with 1:1 and 1:2 mole ratio. The structural characterizations of the complexes (2a-j) were made by IR, 1H NMR, UV–vis, mass spectra (TOF), molar conductivities and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The spectroscopic properties of the complexes were calculated by employing time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) and compared with available experimental data. Not only experimental data but also theoretical calculations showed that Mn(II) ve Ni(II) complexes (2a, 2c, 2f, 2h), prepared by using azo-oxime ligand and terminal ligand 2,2‟-Bipyridine/1,10-phenanthroline with 1:2 mol ratio have distorted octahedral geometry. The Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) complexes (2d, 2e, 2g, 2i, 2j) prepared by using azo-oxime ligand and terminal ligand with 1:1 mol ratio have distorted square pyramidal geometry, the Ni(II) complex (2b) prepared by using azo-oxime ligand and terminal ligand with 1:1 mol ratio have distorted tetrahedral geometry.
