Abstract (EN)

The Group VI carbonyl complexes have been of interest for many years. These complexes are used in a number of different roles. Especially molybdenum carbonyl complexes have been used as catalysts. Recently metal carbonyls complexes have been used for biological assays as therapeutic CO-release molecules (CORMs). In this work, we prepared metal carbonyl complexes bearing N-substituted imidazoline and N-substituted benzimidazole as ligand . The structures of these complexes were elucidated with spectroscopic methods. The studies summarized in four categories: 1) A new 8 number L2W(CO)4 type complexes bearing 2 number N-coordinated ligand (L) and 4 number CO ligand were synthesized from treatment with W(CO)6 of N-sübstituted imidazoline and N-sübstituted benzimidazole (1a-1h). The structures of new complexes were elucidated with appropriate spectroscopic methods. 2) A new 9 number L2Mo(CO)4 type complexes bearing 2 number N-coordinated ligand (L) and 4 number CO ligand were synthesized from treatment with Mo(CO)6 of N-sübstituted imidazoline and N-sübstituted benzimidazole (2a-2i). The structures of new complexes were elucidated with appropriate spectroscopic methods. 3) L2Cr(CO)4 type complex was synthesized from treatment with Cr(CO)6 of 4-metoksibenzilbenzimidazole ligand (3). The structure of new complexe was elucidated with appropriate spectroscopic methods.
