Experimental group was occured 14 volunteer fathers, and control group was occured 14 fathers, same sociocultural and socioeconomic with experimental group. From beginning the Father Support Programme, prestest was implemented experimantal and control groups. After pretest, 13 weeks Father Support Programme was trained to experimental group. After the programme, final test was implemented both experimental and control group. In the study, the Family Assessment Questionnaire, which was adapted to Turkish, validity and reliability studies by Bulut (1990), and the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used. For assessment of data Shapiro Wilk Test, Independent Samples t Test, Paired Samples t Test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, Crosstabs were used. As a result of the analysis of the data, it was seen that there was no significant difference in the pre-test scores between the experimental group and the control group. When the post-test scores applied after the 13-week Father Support Training Program were examined, it was found that the experimental group differed significantly from the control group at a significantly higher level. This difference applies in terms of problem solving, communication, role, emotional response, required attention, behavior control, general functions, and overall score of the test. In addition, in terms of educational status, participants in primary and high school graduates in the experimental group differed in terms of both pre-test and post-test scores. Participants of high school graduates found that their family functions were healthier before and after the training. However, in terms of roles, behavior control, general functions, and overall score of the test, primary school graduates in the experimental group were significantly more likely to benefit from education.
