Özet (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of psychological resilience levels of fathers with children who are educated before school on their participation in child care practices. In this context, the data obtained were collected with scales applied to the father of 240 children educated in kindergartens in Seyhan and Çukurova districts of Adana province. The application form consists of two scales: the 37-point paternal participation scale and the 21-point adult psychological resilience scale. Data from participants was analyzed with SPSS. Data analyses were conducted based on the total scores obtained from the scales. Due to the normal distribution of this study using stratified and non-selective sampling method, parametric tests were used. In this direction, a one-way ANOVA test was used to compare quantitative continuous data between averages of more than two independent groups. After the ANOVA test, the Tukey test was used as a complementary post hoc analysis to determine the differences. Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were applied among the continuous variables of the study. It was understood that there was a significant difference between fathers 'age and their participation in childcare, and that fathers' participation in childcare increased as their age progressed. But it was understood that there was no significant difference between fathers ' educational levels and their participation in childcare. When the psychological resilience of the fathers was examined, it was understood that there was no significant relationship between the age and educational levels of the fathers and the levels of psychological resilience. It was also understood that there was a moderately significant positive correlation between fathers' participation in childcare practices and their psychological resilience.
