Abstract (EN)
Internal migration movements are one of the most important factors that shaped the political and social life of the modern Azerbaijan Republic. So much so that the immigration problem, which remained behind the war and occupation process caused by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, had serious reflections over the years. Lack of a versatile scientific perspective on the causes and consequences of migration led to the emergence of this study. This thesis gathered together the evaluations of the processes taking place in the region regarding the migration movements and the solution of the problems brought by them. In this context, internal migration movements have been evaluated on the basis of up-to-date data as part of the historical processes Azerbaijan is in. Various mixed methods were used in the study in order to obtain new findings. In the last part of the thesis, the data obtained on the basis of the discourses expressed by people exposed to internal migration movements were analyzed, and the originality of the study was supported by chat and survey studies. This study, which deals with the problems and solutions of people suffering from forced migration in Azerbaijan, which are preferred to be solved over the years, also briefly summarizes other developments related to the migration process.
