Azerbaijan-Russia economic relations after independence

The research focuses on potential factors that can play a role in developing economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan. These mentioned potential elements cover the identification of areas of mutual benefit through the exchange of goods, services, capital and labor. Establishing such a strategic partnership between the two countries will serve this purpose. Secondary goals are; State sovereignty, peace and stability in the region, ensuring global energy security and improving the economies of Russia and Azerbaijan. Achieving these objectives will result in a longterm cooperation between countries with common goals. Strategic partnership is a necessary step in the real economic integration of neighboring countries. The study aims to analyze the development of economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan in order to expand the interaction between countries.
