Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to determine the competence levels of the classroom teaching program students in using web 2.0 tools and to determine whether there is a significant difference between competence levels, grade level and gender. The "Web2.0 Tools Usage Competence Scale (WAKYÖ)" developed by Türkan Çelik (2021) was used to determine the students' competence levels with Web 2.0 tools. The research data was obtained from 155 students studying in the classroom teaching program at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Education, in the 2024-2025 academic year. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Kruskal Wallis test were used in the data analysis. According to the data obtained in the study, it was determined that teacher candidates' competence in using Web 2.0 tools was generally at a moderate level. However, no significant difference was observed in the level of competence in using Web 2.0 tools among classroom teaching program students based on their gender. However, when this situation was examined by grade level, a significant difference was found between the grade levels of classroom teaching candidates.
