Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, BAIBU central campus electrical energy infrastructure is examined in terms of energy efficiency and energy quality. In the energy efficiency analysis of the main campus, the electrical energy consumption behavior of the electricity subscriptions in the campus area was analyzed and the most appropriate tariff proposal was made. In addition, operating conditions of the pumping systems used in the campus for heating and water supply were analyzed and the gains to be obtained in case of replacement with more efficient systems were calculated. In addition, energy efficiency analysis of outdoor lighting systems were carried out and necessary projections and calculations were made. In the electrical energy quality analysis of the main campus, the problem of high neutral-earth voltage encountered in the Building of Engineering Faculty was discussed. Energy quality measurements of the building were made and evaluated within the framework of TS en 50160 standard. In this context, current, voltage, frequency, power factor, harmonics, neutral-earth voltage measurements were made simultaneously at the transformer center where the Building of Engineering Faculty received energy and at the main distribution panel of the Building of Engineering Faculty. The reasons for the problems identified in the measurements were determined and solution suggestions were presented for them. It has been found that it is appropriate to use active power filters to solve problems of high neutral currents, high neutral-ground voltage, harmonics and load imbalances. In addition, the reactive power compensation systems in the main campus area were examined and the solution proposals for an effective compensation system were presented.
