An analysis on Baki Asiltürk (Baki Ayhan T.)

In this study, which is an MA dissertation, an analysis has been carried out on Baki Asiltürk (also as known as Baki Ayhan T.), who was an innovative figure of modern Turkish poetry and concentrated on modern Turkish poetry as an academician. In this dissertation, the poet's life, works, understanding of art, stylistic features, poems and formal features in his poems were analyzed. Monography studies play an important role in history of literature studies. We aimed to conduct a detailed analysis on Baki Asiltürk. We analyzed his works based on various documents and enriched our study via interviews and Asiltürk's memoirs. Hopefully, this study will shed light on upcoming studies and researches as it is the first one on Baki Asiltürk in the academic community.
