Bâki and a commentary study done on the ghazels of him ending with Elif according based on the method of thought field centered text analysis method

XVI. century is a very important period in terms of history, art and poetry. Along with the development and empowerment of the state in this period, the developments in the poetry have accelerated and even reached the summit. Many poets grew up in this century and became famous with their ghazels in Dîvân literature. Bâkî comes at the head of these poets. Referring to studies done in Turkey, there is no comprehensive commentary study done on the poet's ghazels. The fact that there is no comprehensive commentary study on his ghazels which are frequently mentioned in the name of Dîvân literature is one of the reasons leading me to this study. In the direction of this study, to inform the reader and to introduce the text and to determine the understanding of his poetry art will contribute to the world of science. This study is also important in lightening the future as it presents the legacy of the past by blending it with the present. In this study, it was attempted to give general information about the autobiography, literary personality and works of the XVI century poet, Bâki and a commentary study done on the ghazels of him ending with Elif according based on the method of Thought Field Centered Text Analysis Method. Rythm of the ghazels were found and controlled one by one on every couplet. Detailed information about all the meanings of the words mentioned in every couplets was given and commentary study done by transfering the couplets to the contemporary Turkish after forming them in prose style.
