Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to develop a new method in the simultaneously determination of Cu2+ and Bi3+ cations together with using square wave voltammetry. In first study, thiosemicarbazide (TSC) has used for complexing agent in HClO4 (pH 2) media. Copper has effected (Ep= -0,32 V) and formed a complex with TSC but bismuth hasn?t effected from TSC. After these observations an indirect method was decided to use. So that total peak current (it) gained belongs to copper and bismuth nearly 0 V. Then we added TSC to media until Cu2+-TSC specific complex peak (-0,32 V) to stay strictly. At this point there is no free copper in the solution. The current value of copper complex and calibration graphic in this media was used for determination of copper amount. After bismuth amount was determined to use total peak current at 0 V and calibration graphics belong to bismuth and copper. In second study for complexing agent has used EDTA. Some experiments has made between pH 8-11,5 media which has used support electrolyte NH3/NH4Cl. In these experiments we researched Cu2+ ? EDTA and Bi3+ - EDTA complexes peaks in solution at different pH values. It seemed these two cations can be simultaneously determination in this method. Whereupon has worked with a sample which presented [Cu2+]/[Bi3+]= 1 and 1,92x10-5 M in solution. We measured to [Cu2+], [Bi3+], (1,85±0,089)x10-5 M and (2,00±0,28)x10-5 M respectively. Then we studied with different [Cu2+]/[Bi3+] ratios and this method is giving less error rate when we used more amount of bismuth than copper. This method is studied with another anions and cations and is researched interference effects. This method compared with HPSAM method.
