Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of the thesis, four new complexes of Copper (II), Nickel (II), Cobalt (II) and Zinc (II) Furan-2-carboxylates with Nicotinamide (NA) will be synthesized. These compounds; Tetraaquabis (pyridine-3-carboxamide-κN) Copper (II) furan-2-carboxylate (I), Tetraaquabis (pyridine-3-carboxamide-κN) Nickel (II) furan-2-carboxylate (II), Tetraaquabis (pyridine-It was synthesized as 3-carboxamide-κN) Cobalt (II) furan-2-carboxylate (III), Tetraaquabis (pyridine-3-carboxamide-κN) Zinc (II) furan-2-carboxylate (IV). The structures of the synthesized compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Methods such as single crystal X-Işını crystallography, Infrared (IR) Spectroscopy, elemental analysis, mass spectroscopy and UV-VIS spectrophotometer were used for the structure determination of group B transition metal complexes. According to the results obtained, the bonding patterns, bond angles and structure of the other atoms in the structure with a metal atom in the center of the coordination compound were characterized. It is thought that it will contribute to the studies in the field in terms of enzyme and bioactivity due to the nicotinamide ligand in the structure of the synthesized metal complexes.
