Abstract (EN)

Varroa destructor is an external parasite residing only in honeybees, continuing its growth and life in bee colonies and causing the most damage for beekeeping.Varroa is a pest, spreading almost to the entire world and monitoring in all colonies.Varroa causes loss of protein in bee pupae and reduction ofbodyweight in the larvae mature period and life shortening, wings loss, abdomen shortening, wing and feet disorders, live weight loss,a decrease in the flying activity, a decrease inbrood raising, regarding adult bees and reduction of sperm production, damage of the immune system and increase the losses of winter regarding male bees. All kinds of chemical and syntheticcompounds that used againstdiseases and parasites especially for varroa in honey bees, damage honey bees and humans in the short or long term, leaving residues in honey and wax. Also drug resistance and spread of Varroa causethe creation of a generation, resistant against chemicals being used. Because of these reasons, substances, non-hazardous for nature and honey bees, have mostly been used recently instead of varroa. In this thesis, effects of some essential oils and organic acids, widely used against Varroa, on some bee attitudes andcolony growth parameters will be investigated.
