Adapting MASW and microtremor parameters of Balçova area to geopraphic information system

As a result of studies carried out in geophysical engineering, such as that of many scholars and fieldwork, the results obtained have become compulsory in order to be able to be presented in a form that will form a whole together with the characteristics and geography of the region to which it belongs. Geographical Information Systems applications have become an indispensable part of the studies by means of the programs that emerged together with the developing technology of today. In this context, single source microtremor method and MASW were used in geophysical studies. In the microtremor measurements, Nakamura technique with single station method was applied dominant period and magnification maps of the ground were created. Multichannel surface wave method (MASW), which is physical properties of underground layers are directly related to share (s) speed. Therefore, the MASW method is widely use to determine S-rate changes. Vs30 speed maps of the study area were created and all maps transferred to the GIS. The aim of the study is to provide a detailed analysis of all studies and to allow easier visual inspection of the region. All the information and resources of the study region by GIS are best correlated with the studies. As a result of all resources, information and studies created the data for accurate processing Arcgis software was used. As a result, the alluvial deposits in the coastal are of Balçova district have wide spread, low velocity and large ground dominance periods have been observed compared to the regions with flysch facies higher than sea level.
